1) Parenting can be challenging and it’s often difficult to know where to turn for advice. In your book Parenting with Pets, the Magic of Raising Children with Animals, you say that some of your best advisors can actually be family pets. In what ways do you feel that pets can aid the parenting job?
2) Communicating with teenagers can be tricky for parents. Are there ways that the family pet can help?
3) Are there specific pets that are better than others for working with your children or will any pet do?
4) Do you recommend that all families get a pet or are there circumstances where it may be better not to have a pet?
